In its endeavor to provide education to the girl child, ROCK follows a robust framework to gain active commitment from three key players:

  • School  management and teaching staff
  •  Parents of the selected child
  •  The Child herself

Process

A ROCK Solid Process

  • The ROCK management committee identifies the zone/school based on a set of stringent criteria.
  •  The beneficiaries are suggested by the educational institutions identified by the committee.
  •  The committee conducts interviews of the candidates and their parents before deciding on the support.
  • The selection of a child is not influenced by social boundaries such as religion, caste, creed or color.
  • ROCK bears the child’s education and associated expenses.
  • ROCK’s operations are entrusted to a management committee of volunteers comprising respectable citizens and eminent professionals.
